Leidos acquired the L3 Security & Detection business in 2020 and sells EDS hardware used in airport baggage handling loops. ClearScan is its current-generation CT explosive detection system for hold bags, certified to ECAC EDS Standard 3 and TSA qualified. Leidos is a major provider to US airports and increasingly active in European retrofits and GCC checkpoints.
