Industrial air quality and ventilation covers the engineered systems that capture, filter and safely handle airborne contaminants generated by aerospace and metalworking processes — welding fume, grinding and machining dust, combustible metallic dust (titanium, aluminium, carbon fibre), powder-coat overspray and additive-manufacturing particulate. It spans cartridge and baghouse dust collectors, source-capture and downdraft extraction, submicron filtration media, ambient air cleaning, and the deflagration venting, isolation and suppression hardware that brings a combustible-dust installation into OSHA, NFPA 68/69/652 and ATEX compliance.
