Houbara Defence & Security

Houbara Defence and Security is a UAE-registered joint venture between a local MGE partner and QinetiQ (UK), registered in the UAE as CN-2645969. The company provides unmanned aerial targets, test and evaluation services, and mission-led defence products to the Gulf region. Key products include the BANSHEE family of aerial target systems (drone targets for training and testing), and the BRACER TACSAT secure tactical satellite communication system. Houbara also offers capabilities in robotics (through QinetiQ), RPG protective netting, encrypted SATCOM solutions, and through QinetiQ provides complex asset support for introduction into service and operational readiness. The company enables training of air defence systems against realistic aerial threats.
