Visual Docking Guidance & PBB Auto-Docking Systems

Systems that automate the two precision tasks at a gate: guiding the aircraft to the correct stop position (Visual Docking Guidance Systems / A-VDGS using laser or stereo-camera sensing) and then driving the bridge cab onto the aircraft door without a manual operator (auto-docking using LiDAR, encoders and machine vision on cab, bogie and rotunda). Solutions ship as factory-fitted intelligent bridges or as retrofit kits that convert any OEM's existing PBB to autonomous operation, cutting turnaround time and contact damage.
