Perimeter Intrusion Detection (Sensors & Radar)

The electronic detection skin around the airfield: fence-mounted and buried fibre/cable sensors, bistatic microwave barriers, ground-surveillance radar, LiDAR, PIR and combination detectors, and the C2 software that fuses them and cues a camera to the alarm point. Distinct from the physical barrier (which stops the intruder) and from CCTV (which watches) — this layer is the early-warning nervous system, increasingly fused with video analytics into a single perimeter command picture. Procurement spans kilometres of boundary, demands very low nuisance-alarm rates in harsh climates, and integrates with PSIM and rapid-response dispatch.
