Combustible-dust collection systems carry deflagration and fire risk, and AirPro engineers the protective measures as an integral part of the system rather than a bolt-on. Provisions include explosion vents and flameless vents, mechanical and chemical isolation valves to stop flame and pressure propagating through ducting, and spark-detection systems paired with chemical suppression. The protection scheme is designed to the relevant standards — NFPA 68 (deflagration venting), NFPA 69 (explosion prevention), NFPA 652 (combustible dust fundamentals), and ATEX where applicable. AirPro integrates protection equipment from partners such as Fike and Ansul.

Best for

Use cases.

  • Deflagration venting on cartridge and baghouse collectors handling metallic dust
  • Flameless venting for indoor collectors where external venting is not possible
  • Ductwork isolation to prevent flame and pressure propagation
  • Spark detection and chemical suppression on extraction ducting
  • NFPA/ATEX compliance for combustible-dust collection installations
