Explosion & Fire Protection
NFPA- and ATEX-led explosion and fire protection for dust collection systems — explosion vents, flameless vents, isolation valves, and spark detection with chemical suppression.
Combustible-dust collection systems carry deflagration and fire risk, and AirPro engineers the protective measures as an integral part of the system rather than a bolt-on. Provisions include explosion vents and flameless vents, mechanical and chemical isolation valves to stop flame and pressure propagating through ducting, and spark-detection systems paired with chemical suppression. The protection scheme is designed to the relevant standards — NFPA 68 (deflagration venting), NFPA 69 (explosion prevention), NFPA 652 (combustible dust fundamentals), and ATEX where applicable. AirPro integrates protection equipment from partners such as Fike and Ansul.
