BAGware is Alstef Group's proprietary software platform for airport baggage handling system control, comprising four integrated modules: BAGSORT (sortation allocation control), BAGVIEW (SCADA and system visualisation), BAGANALYTICS (business intelligence and KPI reporting), and a real-time bag traceability layer that runs across the entire outbound flow.

BAGSORT is the sortation allocation control (SAC) engine. It manages flight assignments, chute and carousel allocations, and hold baggage screening status tracking across all five ECAC levels. It is compliant with IATA Resolution 753, and interfaces directly with airline Departure Control Systems via SITA BagMessage and ARINC BagLink, pulling flight data from the Airport Information System and FIDS to keep allocations current as schedules change. Sortation rules can be configured to any combination of carrier, flight, class, destination, or connecting flight — operators can adjust allocations through an ergonomic UI without stopping the sorter.

BAGVIEW is the SCADA layer, offering 2D or 3D dynamic visualisation of the BHS installation in real time. Alarms, faults, events, and log data are accessible through the same interface, with HTML and Excel export. BAGVIEW is built on standard platforms, is web-accessible from mobile devices, and can be tailored to each airport's existing infrastructure and display conventions.

BAGANALYTICS delivers KPI dashboards and historical trend analysis for operational performance review, capacity planning, and OPEX management. It is multi-lingual.

The traceability layer connects every module, providing per-bag status continuity from check-in injection through HBS and sortation to make-up — reducing mishandled bag rates and supporting post-incident investigation. BAGware is the control backbone for BAGXONE and AVIBATCH AGV fleets as well as conventional belt BHS installations.
