Logistics Mezzanine Floor

Anera's logistics mezzanine is a freestanding cold-formed steel intermediate floor system designed to double usable floor area within an existing facility by exploiting vertical headroom — without structural modification to the building envelope. The system uses Anera's proprietary Euro profiles, roll-formed at the company's own facility in Klundert, Netherlands, and is engineered to carry the demanding point loads that characterise logistics operations: pallet stacks, conveyor runs, picking stations, robotic AMR/AGV systems, and buffer storage. In airport and air-cargo logistics contexts, this platform class is deployed in cargo terminals, baggage make-up areas, and ground-handling warehouses where floor footprints are constrained but vertical space is available. A mezzanine at the baggage make-up level, for example, allows secondary workstations, scanning equipment, or supervisory offices to be positioned directly above the bag-belt run, maximising throughput density without expanding the building. The modular frame design means floors can be reconfigured or extended later without taking the structure out of service — particularly valuable for airports that expand capacity in phases. Load capacity ranges from 250 kg/m² for light-duty picking to over 1,500 kg/m² for concentrated machinery loads. BIM-compatible engineering packages, in-house roll-forming and powder-coating, and dedicated site-installation teams are included. The floor is fully demountable and retains residual value, which aids airport procurement decisions where lease or concession constraints apply. GCC deployment is feasible: the climate-controlled interior environment of modern terminal infrastructure (air-conditioned cargo halls, below-terminal baggage basements) is well suited to the powder-coated finish, and short-lead-time European production supports fast project timelines.
