XIS-1517DV

The XIS-1517DV is a large-tunnel, dual-view X-ray inspection system purpose-built for cargo, palletised freight, and oversized checked baggage. Two independent 200 kV generators produce simultaneous orthogonal imaging passes; each view is displayed and manipulated independently on paired high-resolution monitors, allowing operators to apply different colour filters, enhancement modes, and organic/inorganic discrimination to each perspective at the same time. The result is substantially faster threat resolution on densely packed or irregularly shaped loads compared with single-view systems, because the second perspective breaks hiding angles that would otherwise require manual re-inspection.

The system's tunnel aperture of 150.2 cm wide by 170.2 cm high handles pallets, freight containers, and large baggage that cannot pass through conventional checkpoint or hold-baggage scanners. A heavy-duty roller bed accommodates loads up to 2,000 kg, and the low 38.3 cm conveyor height enables fork-lift and ground-level loading without supplementary ramps. Steel penetration of 52 mm typical (200 kV configuration) delivers assured visibility through dense military or industrial cargo.

In the aviation context the XIS-1517DV is deployed in air-cargo terminals and customs inspection lanes where pallets and unit load devices are screened prior to acceptance or export release. It is equally suited to military air-logistics hubs, government customs facilities, and freight forwarding warehouses attached to major cargo airports.
