XIS-5335S

The XIS-5335S is a small-footprint, high-energy X-ray inspection system designed for screening mail, small parcels, backpacks, and compact baggage in environments where space is constrained or the unit must be relocated frequently. Its 160 kV generator — unusually powerful for a tunnel of this size — delivers steel penetration of 39 mm typical, a level that comfortably exceeds what lower-energy parcel scanners in this tunnel class can achieve and that enables reliable detection of metallic and dense-organic threats concealed within compact packages.

The tunnel opening of 53.3 cm wide by 35.6 cm high accepts standard mail trays, A3-sized flat packages, laptop bags, and small suitcases. At 345 kg net weight and with overall dimensions compact enough to pass through a standard doorway and fit inside most service elevators, the XIS-5335S can be transported and redeployed between sites without specialist rigging — a practical advantage for mobile security teams, temporary diplomatic event screening, and facilities that cycle between operational configurations.

The 100% duty cycle means the unit is continuously emission-ready with no warm-up delay, supporting high-cadence screening queues at mail room entry points, embassy post rooms, and government buildings where correspondence volume is unpredictable. The 6-colour imaging palette with organic/inorganic discrimination and liquid-explosive detection mode addresses the full threat spectrum expected at these venues: IEDs constructed from non-metallic components, narcotics in dense wrapping, and concealed bladed items.
