The 6040DVS is Autoclear's core checkpoint X-ray cabinet — a single-source, dual-energy system designed for continuous operation in airport security lanes handling passenger carry-on items. Where the DV variant adds a second perpendicular X-ray tube, the 6040DVS delivers a single enhanced side-view image using dual-energy discrimination, presenting organic materials, inorganic materials, and composites in distinct colour channels to focus operator attention on threat-relevant regions. The bottom-up generator design positions the X-ray source beneath the conveyor belt, directing the beam upward through items. This orientation maximises the clarity of dense objects placed on the belt surface and contributes to the stable, consistent image quality that operators depend on in high-speed screening. The patented guided conveyor requires no manual belt adjustment during operation, reducing maintenance interventions and keeping lane uptime high. The autoSoft operating system provides real-time image enhancement including high-penetration mode, organic/inorganic material stripping, and zoom, without halting the conveyor.
