The Avio-Pack ATLAS Full-Size Meal Trolley is an aluminum galley service cart built to the ATLAS interline standard — the format used across approximately 80% of the world's commercial airline fleets. Constructed from high-grade aluminum alloy extrusions and sheet panels with stainless steel hardware and fire-rated insulation, the trolley rolls on four full-swivel castors with twin-pedal brake control to hold position in the aisle. A 270-degree hinged front door with magnetic hold-open keeps the door clear during service. The rear door adds a secondary pass-through surface on wide-body galleys. At its rated load, the trolley carries up to 28 Atlas half-size meal trays — or a combination of aluminum and polypropylene drawers — making it the primary vehicle for full-service catering on medium- and long-haul sectors. Its unladen weight sits in the 18–20 kg range; maximum loaded weight is approximately 113 kg, well within the galley floor load tolerance of commercial transports. The aluminum construction keeps tare weight low against that load ceiling, directly translating to fuel-burn saving at scale across a large fleet. For GCC operators flying wide-body equipment on intercontinental trunk routes — Emirates, Qatar, Etihad, Saudia — the full-size format is the operational baseline. Hot-weather ramp handling demands robust castor and brake performance; the dual-pedal brake system addresses this. Avio-Pack supplies the trolley as part of a broader galley-equipment catalogue, allowing airlines to source full-size trolleys, half-size trolleys, containers, and drawers from a single vendor against a common aluminium specification.
