Aviramp Regional

The Aviramp Regional fills the mid-range gap between the compact Domestic and the full-size Continental, targeting the door sill envelope of CRJ-series regional jets, the forward entry door of certain Boeing 737 variants, Fokker 70/100 types, and comparable aircraft with sill heights in the 160–265 cm band.

Architecturally it is the most compact of the three-tier switchback models: at 9.2 m long and 2,900 kg, it is significantly lighter than the Continental while covering a wider height range than the Domestic. The patented three-tier walkway distributes the climb to maintain a gentle ~8-degree boarding gradient, providing PRM-compliant access with no wheelchair transfer required. Single-person tiller or remote-control operation, solar or diesel power options, and up to 24 hours of battery runtime are common across the family.

The Regional is particularly appropriate for airlines operating mixed narrowbody/regional-jet fleets from the same ground-handling pool — the height range allows the same unit to service a CRJ-900 and then reposition to a 737-700 forward door within a single busy period. Optional canopy, lighting, and aircraft door-cover accessories are available; a ten-year structural warranty covers the aluminium and galvanised chassis. IATA AHM-compliant. Perpignan Airport in France has publicly cited installing multiple Regional units as an immediate operational improvement.
