All HMALS variants accommodate runway lighting systems up to 10,000 ft in length. The trailer includes in-trailer charging capability for AC-powered, solar, or hybrid configurations of the lights it carries — meaning a deployed set can be recharged from a generator or shore power without unloading each individual light.
