The CAE 7000XR is the Level D full-flight simulator at the heart of CAE's global training network. Approved by EASA Part-FCL, FAA Part 142 and GCAA for zero-flight-time type-rating qualification, the 7000XR pairs a roll-on/roll-off interchangeable cockpit shell with the CAE Tropos 6000XR collimated visual system, six-degree-of-freedom electric motion and the Open Matrix instructor station. The platform supports A320, A330, A350, B737, B777, B787, ATR 72, Bombardier Global, Gulfstream G650 and Embraer E2 cockpits — letting Gulf carriers train every type they operate inside one consolidated training estate. Operated 24/7 across CAE's Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha centres, with utilisation typically running 5,000+ hours per simulator per year.
