The DP-50/60 Series is a fixed-installation electrical distribution pillar that brings all the power circuits a maintenance technician needs to a single, weather-resistant column at the aircraft nose or wing. Rather than running individual power units to each bay, an airport or MRO operator installs the DP pillar as a permanent infrastructure point; the technician simply connects the aircraft and selects the required supply. Three supply types are available from one unit: standard AC at 220/400 V, 50/60 Hz for tools and consumables; specialised 115/200 V, 400 Hz for avionics and aircraft systems; and 28 V DC up to 1,600 A continuous for engine-start and avionics power. Three-phase current ratings step from 16 A through to 200–250 A on both three-phase and single-phase outlets, accommodating everything from hand tools to GPU-level loads. The 400 Hz section scales to 360 kVA (three-phase, 115/200 V) and includes a 36 V, 30 kVA output for specialist aircraft or ground equipment. IP 55-rated enclosure protection on the external cover and IP 67-rated electrical connectors mean the column survives apron washing, tropical downpours, and the salt-laden air of coastal Gulf airports. Optional high-speed protection switches on each circuit, voltage and status indicator lights, anti-condensation heating, remote control capability, and certified energy metering allow the pillar to be configured to precise facility management and safety audit requirements. The design is used in MRO hangars, manufacturing shop floors, airline maintenance centres, and military aviation workshops wherever permanent power infrastructure is more efficient than mobile GPUs.

Best for

Use cases.

  • Permanent power distribution in MRO hangars and airline maintenance bases
  • Manufacturing and shop-floor bays requiring multiple simultaneous supply types
  • Military aviation workshops where standard and 400 Hz AC plus DC are needed from one point
  • Apron infrastructure at stand positions served by fixed power rather than mobile GPUs
  • Training centre aircraft bays where repeated connection and disconnection justifies permanent pillars
  • Upgrade of older facilities from multiple mobile units to consolidated fixed-point distribution
