Like the rest of the e.COBUS line it runs on LTO lithium-titanate batteries with a flexible, selectable capacity and a Siemens "ELFA" modular electric powertrain delivering zero-emission, low-noise operation. Batteries charge on stationary fast chargers in roughly one to two hours, enabling smooth operation through time-reduced and fast intermediate charging.
