The Dräger AFS 5000 is a gas-powered (propane) aircraft fire simulator built for efficient, realistic aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) training, suitable for both trainees and advanced crews. Its compact design sets up on paved surfaces without time-consuming earthworks or underground installation, and the dummy aircraft's fire points can be ignited individually or in combination via radio remote control or touch screen. With the AFS 5000 a training facility can meet all requirements set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
