Evergreen Aviation states a typical airport has 1.5-3 million m2 of such surfaces, and that AGAT delivers around a 75% cost reduction with zero herbicides needed (no chemical vegetation control). The London City Airport jet-blast installation (45,000+ m2, since August 2017) reports zero jet-blast erosion at roughly GBP 5,000/year maintenance for the entire AGAT area.
