JX4300 / JX4360 Heliport Flash Beacon
Heliport identification flash beacon delivering 20,000 cd peak white at 2-second intervals to ICAO Annex 14 and FAA heliport standards.
The JX4300 and JX4360 are Flashelek's matched pair of heliport flash beacons, differing in their remote-control architecture. Both deliver identical photometric performance — 4 × 40 J energy per flash, producing a 20,000 cd peak white flash at a 2-second period — making them suitable for primary heliport identification lighting under ICAO Annex 14 (Chapter 14) and FAA heliport guidance. The JX4300 is the analogue-control variant, remotely operated via the JX2300 controller using 24/48 V DC over a 4–20 mA current loop — the preferred interface for heliports integrated into legacy SCADA or hard-wired airfield control systems. The JX4360 is the network-aware upgrade: it interfaces via dry contacts or RS485 (J-Bus/Modbus), and is managed through a JX5600 Monitor Controller over a UDP Ethernet connection, enabling browser-accessible monitoring, individual lamp-hour counters, and integration into modern building management or ATM systems. This makes the JX4360 the natural choice for new-build hospital helipads, offshore platforms, and any site where remote status reporting to a control room is required. Both units share the same robust physical package: IP66, -25°C to +55°C operating range, 230 V AC input with 110 V optional, under 200 W consumption, 360° azimuthal flash coverage. The control cabinet (400 × 300 × 160 mm, 11 kg) is surface-mounted at ground or plant-room level, with the 7 kg flash head elevated at the helipad perimeter. Day/night automatic dimming (100% → 20%) is available via the optional photoelectric cell.
