The SGDS is a visual docking guidance system using long-range 3D LiDAR to position aircraft precisely at airport gates in all weather conditions. It automatically identifies the aircraft type from a distance, guides docking and monitors gate safety through continuous scanning, with a high-intensity full-colour LED pilot display. It integrates with AODB/A-CDM systems and provides obstacle detection, GSE status monitoring and emergency stops.
