Iconal SeCure Vapour ETD

Swabless trace detection of explosives by vapour sampling.

SeCure is Iconal's vapour-based trace detection platform. Instead of swabbing hands and bags, it draws an air sample from close proximity to the passenger or their belongings and analyses it for trace explosives using proprietary detection. That cuts the time penalty of random ETD checks and removes a consumable cost. SeCure is in early UK DfT trials and is of interest in GCC terminals where checkpoint throughput and hands-off workflows are priorities.
