Mobile battery-electric 400 Hz aircraft GPU — supplies parked-aircraft power and recharges electric GSE on a single platform.
The AmpCart is JBT AeroTech's mobile battery-electric ground power unit — a true zero-emission replacement for diesel GPUs at remote stands. It delivers 400 Hz / 28 VDC aircraft power for cabin pre-conditioning and avionics power-up, and doubles as a DC fast-charging station for the B80E tractor and Commander electric loaders. The unit's 320 kWh LFP pack supports a full narrow-body turn (single-aisle 28 VDC + 90 kVA 400 Hz draw) without grid connection. AmpCart is the operator's transition tool: stands without 400 Hz pit infrastructure can immediately decommission diesel GPUs without civil works.
