The B80 Electric is JBT AeroTech's flagship electric cargo and baggage tractor, the direct replacement for the diesel B400 in single-aisle and narrow-body apron work. Built on a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery pack with regenerative braking and CCS-compatible opportunity charging, the B80E delivers 80,000 lb (36,287 kg) drawbar pull while eliminating Scope-1 emissions on the apron. Cab is operator-environment-controlled — critical for 50°C+ summer ramp work at DXB, DWC and AUH. Telematics-ready for fleet management software and load-sharing networks. Targeted directly at GCC operators tendering against Net Zero 2050 commitments and the IATA 25by2025 zero-emission GSE roadmap.
