It plugs directly into the engine Electronic Control Module's 'Starting Fluid' port without separate interface hardware, and the ECM triggers metered ether delivery based on engine speed and temperature to aid cold starting. It uses an encapsulated coil, non-corroding brass connections and an integrated metering orifice and filter, and is field-serviceable.
