The Kocoverk ACC point-of-use PCA unit mounts under the passenger boarding bridge or at the base of the rotunda to supply pre-conditioned air to a parked aircraft, removing the need to run the aircraft APU or a diesel-powered A/C van. The discharged air is de-humidified, cooled and filtered, and the same unit can be specified to both cool and heat all year round, reducing the need for separate diesel-driven aircraft heaters. PLC remote control at ramp level allows an unskilled operator to select operating modes, and units are sized for each specific boarding bridge and local ambient conditions.

Best for

Use cases.

  • Gate-mounted pre-conditioned air for parked narrow- and wide-body aircraft
  • Eliminating APU and diesel A/C-van use during turnaround and overnight stops
  • Retrofitting existing airport terminals/boarding bridges with low-emission ground cooling and heating
