Aluflite trolleys are the primary galley mobile units used by cabin crew to distribute meals, beverages, and retail items through the cabin aisle, and to collect waste during the post-service cycle. Korita Aviation manufactures two functional lines — service trolleys and waste trolleys — each available in full-size and half-size formats and in both Lightweight and Super Lightweight weight grades.

Service trolley weights run from 10.9 kg (half-size Lightweight) to 17.3 kg (full-size Lightweight) and 16.1 kg (full-size Super Lightweight). The Super Lightweight full-size trolley is the flagship weight-reduction product: an insulated top panel, silicone door seal, push-to-close locking, and a 4-wheel braking system are retained from the Lightweight variant, but engineering refinements cut 1.2 kg from the structure. At scale — a long-haul wide-body may carry 8–12 trolleys — cumulative weight savings per aircraft are operationally meaningful for fuel-cost-conscious airlines.

All service trolleys include a dry ice compartment, essential for keeping chilled items at safe temperatures during extended sectors in the GCC's ambient ramp temperatures. The waste trolleys mirror the service trolley construction but replace the drawer system with an integrated aluminium inner waste bin accessed through top and front waste flaps — a design that allows crew to consolidate cabin waste without removing the bin from the galley bay.

Half-size variants are operationally selected when galley depth is constrained, when a split trolley configuration is run on narrower cabins, or when a top-loaded service module is preferred. Korita Aviation manufactures from its Suzhou facility and is an OEM-approved supplier, meaning these units can enter airline fleets under an existing type approval relationship.

Best for

Use cases.

  • Aisle meal and beverage service on short- to long-haul commercial aircraft
  • Weight-reduction fleet programmes targeting lower fuel burn per cycle
  • Chilled service on high-ambient-temperature routes including GCC sectors where dry ice retention is critical
  • Cabin waste collection and consolidation using integrated-bin waste trolleys
  • Half-size configurations for narrow galley bays or split-trolley service sequences
  • OEM-qualified replacement of ageing trolley fleets without re-qualification burden
