SR-150
Compact C-band MIMO radar delivering 150-metre perimeter detection for small or gap-fill security zones.
The SR-150 is a solid-state, C-band ground surveillance radar built on Magos Systems' MIMO digital beamforming architecture. Despite sharing the same compact form factor as the wider SR-series, it is tuned for shorter-range coverage — making it the entry point of the Magos portfolio for budget-conscious operators or for closing the blind-spot gaps between longer-range sensors in a multi-layer perimeter system.
The radar scans a 120-degree azimuth sector and 30-degree elevation band, classifying detections into people, vehicles, or boats at up to 150 metres, with a range resolution below 1 metre and an azimuth accuracy below 0.7 degrees. All target data — position, speed, and classification — is streamed via Ethernet to the MASS+AI software platform, which applies AI-based filtering to suppress wildlife and environmental nuisance alarms.
In the context of aviation security, the SR-150 is deployed for targeted coverage requirements: access-gate monitoring, sterile-area boundaries, or supplementing a denser sensor grid where a full SR-500 or SR-1000 would be over-specified. Its sub-15-watt power draw and IP67 weatherproofing make it equally viable for remote mounting on fence posts, masts, or vehicle hard-points in hot, dusty, and humid operating environments characteristic of GCC airfields. Integration follows ONVIF and open API/SDK paths, enabling connection to incumbent VMS, PACS, and PTZ camera ecosystems without gateway hardware.
