SR-250-F

The SR-250-F is the mid-range ground surveillance radar in the Magos SR-series, positioned between the entry-level SR-150 and the longer-reach SR-500. It employs the same MIMO digital beamforming technology running at 5.8 GHz C-band, providing detection and classification of people, vehicles, and boats out to 250 metres, across a 120-degree azimuth and 30-degree elevation sector. Coverage footprint exceeds 15 acres per sensor head.

The -F suffix in the product family designates the FCC-certified variant, sharing the 2AFHU-SR500F FCC equipment authorisation with the SR-500, making it the model of choice for North American regulatory environments and for export customers whose local regulators accept FCC attestation. The sensor outputs range, bearing, speed, and target type to the MASS+AI control platform in real time — the AI layer applies behavioural analysis to suppress animal and vegetation false alarms that would otherwise tax operator attention.

For aviation procurement, the SR-250-F is a practical choice for mid-size airports where a documented 17-sensor SR-250 deployment demonstrates the model's scalability across continuous fence-line coverage. Each unit consumes under 3.5 W at 48 V DC, enabling cost-effective solar or PoE power architectures — relevant for GCC airports with exposed perimeters where mains-cabling is prohibitive.
