The Fanblade De-Icer is a patented (utility-model protected) system that de-ices aircraft engine fan blades using hot air from the aircraft's own RAM/air-conditioning exhaust, rather than separate heaters or chemical agents. It is designed for single-operator setup and can de-ice one or two engines simultaneously with an adapter. Operation is largely automatic and complies with aircraft maintenance manuals.
