The BVL is a large-span fabric structure with vertical lattice-frame sidewalls and single or multiple lattice roof pitches per span — an enlarged version of the BVE that delivers more interior clearance across the full width. Clear spans exceeding 100m are achievable, and the design accommodates sliding aircraft hangar doors. Documented aviation case studies include the Newquay Cornwall Airport MRO hangar and the British Airways CityFlyer MRO hangar.
