HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX — Cabin-Baggage CT Screening
ECAC EDS CB C3 + TSA APSS 6.2 cabin-baggage CT scanner — laptops and liquids stay in the bag.
The HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX is Smiths Detection's flagship cabin-baggage CT scanner — approved to ECAC EDS CB C3 and certified to TSA APSS 6.2 Level 2, and listed on the TSA Checkpoint Property Screening System (CPSS) Qualified Products List for base, mid and full-size configurations. Real-time 3D volumetric imaging eliminates the need for passengers to remove electronics, liquids and gels at the checkpoint. The Model S variant trims 20 cm of width and 350 kg of weight for retrofit into space-constrained checkpoints. The 2020 Red Dot Award-winning user interface and pairing with iCMORE APIDS Standard 1 for AI-driven prohibited-item detection make this the de-facto modern checkpoint scanner for hubs migrating off legacy dual-view X-ray.
