SUOLONG-AFFF3% ICAO
AFFF aviation-fuel firefighting foam concentrate (ARFF), ICAO Level B
SUOLONG-AFFF3% ICAO is an aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) concentrate proportioned at 3%, formulated from fluorocarbon and hydrocarbon surfactants for rapid knockdown of Class B hydrocarbon fires — including aviation fuel (Jet A / Jet A-1), oil and other flammable liquids. On a fuel spill it forms an aqueous film that seals vapours and suppresses re-ignition. Water compatibility: it performs with soft, hard, fresh, brackish and sea water, making it suitable for coastal airports and marine settings where only sea water may be available. It is compatible with all dry chemical powders and known finished foams, so it can be deployed in twin-agent and combined-attack firefighting. Applications: airport and aviation rescue fire fighting (ARFF), oilfield and refinery, marine tankers, and a wide range of hazardous-area fixed and mobile low-expansion foam systems. Storage and shelf life: up to 15 years in original unopened packaging at −10 °C to +60 °C. Recommended storage containers are stainless steel (SS304 / 316L), plastic or GRP. Approvals and environment: type-approved to ICAO Level B. The concentrate is PFOS- and PFOA-free and biodegradable. Note: as a film-forming foam it is fluorine-based and is not PFAS-free — operators in jurisdictions phasing out fluorinated foams (such as the EU PFAS restriction) should consider the fluorine-free SUOLONG ECO SFFF line.
