POWER-409 Electric Mobile Ground Power Unit (eGPU)
Battery-electric mobile 90 kVA / 400 Hz aircraft GPU — replaces diesel POWER-90 on remote stands without civil works.
The POWER-409 is TLD's flagship mobile electric GPU, delivering 90 kVA / 400 Hz / 115 V three-phase aircraft power from an onboard lithium-ion battery pack. It is the direct decarbonisation replacement for the long-installed diesel POWER-90 / POWER-180 family at GCC remote stands. The 200-260 kWh battery (configuration-dependent) supports a full narrow-body turn — cabin pre-conditioning, avionics power-up, push and engine-start — without engine running. For wide-body operations the POWER-409 chains via TLD's load-management harness with a second unit to extend duty. Crucially: zero civil works, immediate diesel decommission.
