The Kargo Resilient PBB is a cost-effective solution for converting passenger boarding bridges currently fitted with pneumatic tyres, using the existing wheel fitting on most major bridge brands. Trelleborg states it eliminates 50% of the cost of other solid-tyre conversions and lasts at least three times longer than a traditional pneumatic (aircraft-style or retread), with a typical service life of 6 to 10 years. As a solid tyre it removes the drag and strain on the bridge's electric drive motors and the need to maintain high inflation pressures.
