TilterPlus
Space-saving three-way belt conveyor that diverts baggage left, right, or straight ahead from a single compact unit — eliminating dedicated diverter curves.
TilterPlus is a modular belt conveyor unit with an integrated tilting function that allows it to route bags in three directions — straight, left, or right — from a single device. In conventional baggage hall layouts, achieving three-way routing requires a dedicated diverter plus a curved conveyor section for each branch; TilterPlus replaces that multi-component assembly with one unit, with configurable junction angles of 0°, 45°, and 90° and no additional curve sections required.
The space saving is the primary procurement argument: baggage halls in constrained terminal footprints — particularly pier extensions, satellite buildings, and undercroft installations common in Middle Eastern airports that expand vertically as well as horizontally — benefit directly from equipment that performs more routing functions per square metre of floor. The modular architecture allows the system to be expanded section-by-section without interrupting live operations, which is valuable in airports that cannot schedule extended baggage-hall shutdowns.
TilterPlus uses compatible spare parts shared across Vanderlande's conveyor range, reducing the stocked-part requirement for engineering teams managing mixed-fleet BHS estates. The design integrates into VIBES software control, enabling centralised monitoring of conveyor status and tilt actuator condition alongside the rest of the BHS.
For airport engineers evaluating three-way routing solutions in space-constrained make-up areas or transfer zones, TilterPlus is the relevant specification point: the comparison is footprint plus installation complexity versus a dedicated diverter-and-curve assembly.

Use cases.
- ›Space-constrained baggage hall junctions requiring three-way routing without dedicated curve sections
- ›Pier extensions and satellite buildings where floor footprint is at a premium
- ›Make-up area layouts needing flexible routing between multiple flight-build positions
- ›BHS upgrades in operational airports where construction access windows are short
- ›Multi-floor undercroft installations with restricted layout geometry
