FLEET destination-coded vehicle (DCV)
Self-powered individual baggage carts on rail — high-speed transfer between distant terminal halls.
FLEET is Vanderlande's destination-coded vehicle platform: each bag rides on its own self-powered cart along an enclosed rail network, accelerating to up to 10 m/s between check-in, screening, storage and make-up. The platform handles long distances, level changes and high gradients that conventional belts cannot — making it the standard solution for satellite concourses, remote BHS halls and inter-terminal transfer. FLEET is the load-bearing transport spine at Istanbul Airport (IST) and Rotterdam-The Hague among many other reference sites.
