Ameco Beijing (Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation) is one of China's largest aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) enterprises. Established in 1989 as a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa Technik, the company is headquartered at Beijing Capital International Airport. Ameco Beijing holds CAAC, EASA, and FAA approvals and provides airframe maintenance, engine MRO, component overhaul, and line maintenance services. The company supports a broad range of aircraft types including Boeing 747, 777, 787, Airbus A320 family, and A330. Ameco serves Air China as its primary customer as well as other Chinese and international airlines. The company employs several thousand technical staff and operates large hangar facilities at Beijing Capital Airport. Ameco is a major provider of heavy maintenance checks (C and D checks) for widebody and narrowbody aircraft.
