Clean Energy
“Clean Energy Fuels is North America's largest provider of renewable natural gas for transportation, including airport ground vehicles.”
Company brief
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. is the largest provider of renewable natural gas (RNG) for the transportation industry in North America. The company produces RNG at dairy farms and distributes it through a network of over 600 fueling stations across the US and Canada, serving approximately 50,000 heavy-duty trucks, buses, and large vehicles daily. Its aviation-relevant offering relates to ground vehicle fuelling: RNG as a low-carbon alternative to diesel for airport ground support vehicles. Clean Energy also offers liquefied natural gas (LNG) in bulk and supplies hydrogen fueling infrastructure. The company partners with Cummins X15N engine users in Freightliner, Kenworth, and Peterbilt trucks. RNG is positioned as a fossil-free transportation fuel made from organic waste.
