CLX Engineering is a US control-systems integrator that converts existing PBBs from any OEM into autonomous, auto-docking bridges. Using encoders and LiDAR on the cab, bogie and rotunda, plus machine-vision cameras for auto-levelling, CLX achieves 45–48 second dockings in automatic mode versus 90–120 seconds manually. The system is currently in production at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta, the world's busiest airport, and is paired with CLX's Automated Pilot Parking System (APPS) for aircraft nose-wheel alignment. IoT sensor packs monitor temperatures, vibration and position in real time, feeding CLX SIMS for predictive maintenance. The platform is OEM-agnostic, making it attractive for GCC fleets mixing JBT, TKE, ADELTE and CIMC bridges.
