Diehl Defence's short-range air-defence portfolio has been retooled for C-UAS duties, with the IRIS-T SLM and the emerging SkyKnight cooperative-engagement system both cleared for counter-drone use. Diehl also partners with HENSOLDT to provide the effector layer of Xpeller in high-threat scenarios. For airport deployment Diehl offers a non-kinetic sub-system that leverages its command-and-control bus and third-party soft-kill; hard-kill options are reserved for government/military customers under German BAFA export licence.
