Echodyne's EchoShield and EchoGuard radars use metamaterial electronically scanned arrays (ESA) to give 120 degrees x 80 degrees coverage in a sub-10 kg unit, making them popular for airport perimeter and tethered-drone applications. Echodyne holds the first US FCC Part 90Y certification, which specifically permits civilian airport use in the USA. The radars are integrated into Dedrone, Anduril and Shield AI stacks. ITAR applies to the RF module; software and integration are more freely exportable.
