JPA Design

JPA Design is a British interior design studio specialising in the design of transportation interiors with a particular focus on airline cabin interiors, aircraft seat concepts, and airport and hospitality environments. Based in London, JPA Design works with major commercial airlines, business aviation operators, seat manufacturers, and aviation OEMs to develop aircraft interior concepts that balance passenger comfort, brand expression, operational efficiency, and structural weight constraints. The studio's work spans economy, premium economy, business, and first class cabin configurations for a wide range of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft types.

JPA Design's capabilities include full cabin interior design from concept through to detailed engineering and production specification, seat design and styling (in collaboration with approved seat manufacturers), galley and lavatory design, cabin lighting concepts, overhead storage design, branding and livery integration, and materials specification for durability and flammability compliance. The studio has undertaken projects for airline clients across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas, establishing a broad portfolio of completed cabin designs that have entered service on commercial aircraft routes.

In the airport environment, JPA Design has applied its expertise to the design of premium airport lounge interiors and hospitality spaces that carry airline brand identity into the ground-side customer experience. The studio's design philosophy emphasises occupant-centred design that considers the physical and psychological needs of travellers in the enclosed, pressurised, and vibration-affected environment of an aircraft cabin, or the transitional environment of an airport lounge.
