The RS-500 is MSG's flagship multi-use Multi Solution Gate, engineered for de-icing, anti-icing, washing and inspection in a single covered, closed-loop facility.

The de-icing/anti-icing function (on the RS-500) removes snow and ice as the aircraft passes under stationary overhead traverses using Type I de-ice fluid and water, with under-flushing available to clear slush from the underside, undercarriage and wheel wells.

The RS-400 is the warm-climate Multi Solution Gate model, designed for aircraft washing and inspection only (without de-icing).

The RS-400S is a variant of the RS-400 with built-in de-sanding functionality for aircraft (both body and engine) operating in dry, dusty climates.

All Multi Solution Gate models offer a brushless wash using high-precision nozzles that high-pressure-wash both over and underneath the aircraft as the electric tug pulls it through.

The Multi Solution Gate includes built-in engine flushing capability to remove hydrocarbon and dust/sand deposits that accumulate on engine surfaces and increase drag, weight and fuel consumption.

Both RS-400 and RS-500 models can be equipped with an optional inspection camera system that scans the entire aircraft body with high-resolution cameras to detect dents, nicks and other surface defects.
