Rapiscan Systems, a subsidiary of OSI Systems, rounds out the global screening triumvirate with Smiths and Leidos. Its 920CT cabin scanner, 628XR and 632XR X-ray lines and RTT 110 hold baggage system are commonly seen at Gulf airports. Rapiscan is also a major supplier of cargo screening — including pallet-sized X-ray portals used at DXB and DWC freight centres — and provides the Eagle series of mobile cargo inspection trucks used for customs screening. The company holds ECAC Std 3 and TSA APSS 6.2 approvals on its current CT lineup.
