Siemens Logistics designs and installs tray-based baggage handling, sortation and early-bag-storage systems for the world's busiest hubs. The business was carved out of Siemens AG and, following its 2024 sale to Vanderlande and Toyota Industries, now operates as a standalone unit inside the Toyota Industries group. Its VarioSort and VarioTray platforms move bags at speeds above 2 m/s and form the backbone of several GCC megaterminals. Alongside baggage, Siemens Logistics builds air cargo handling and parcel automation, and provides long-term service contracts covering controls, PLC logic, RFID and reconciliation.
