STG Aerospace
“FLIGHT. ELEVATED. TAKING AIR TRAVEL TO THE NEXT LEVEL.”
Company brief
STG Aerospace, founded in 1995 in the UK following a Manchester airport fire incident that highlighted deficiencies in emergency exit lighting, designs and manufactures photoluminescent emergency floor path marking systems and LED cabin lighting products for commercial and general aviation. Its core product, saf-Tglo, became the preferred emergency exit system for Boeing 737, 757, and 777 platforms and is FAA/EASA certified across the majority of Boeing and Airbus aircraft types, including validated National Aviation Authority approvals from ANAC (Brazil), CAAC (China), and TCCA (Canada). The company also produces LED cabin lighting systems under the liTeMood brand for Airbus and Boeing retrofit programmes, and photoluminescent signage. STG received four Queen's Awards for Enterprise and Innovation. In 2024–2025 it was acquired by Heads Up Technologies. The company maintains offices in the UK and the US and holds STCs across a wide list of manufacturers including Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, Fokker, SAAB, De Havilland, Pilatus, Textron Aviation, and others.
