Velcon is the long-established aviation fuel filtration brand now operating as the Velcon Filtration line within Parker Hannifin's Hydraulic & Aerospace Filtration Division. For over 60 years its filter/separator vessels, filter housings and coalescer/separator cartridges have been supplied to oil companies, airlines, fixed-base operators, ground-fuelling contractors and military fuel facilities worldwide to remove free/emulsified water and solid particulate from jet fuel and avgas. Its aviation products are qualified to the Energy Institute specifications EI 1581 (filter/separators), EI 1596/EI 1541 (micronic filters), EI 1590 (prefilters) and to US military specifications such as Mil-PRF-52308 and Mil-PRF-32148.
