Fixed Fire Detection & Suppression Systems

The built-in fire protection of aviation infrastructure rather than the apron fleet: hangar foam-deluge packages, terminal and concourse sprinkler systems, flame and gas detection, smoke-management and pressurisation, fire-rated doors and alarm/control panels. Specified into the building by consultants and civil contractors to NFPA, UL/FM and local civil-defence codes, with maintenance contracts running for the asset's life. Aircraft hangars are a special case — high ceilings and high fuel loads demand engineered foam-deluge and fast flame detection that ordinary commercial systems cannot provide.
