The Angloco ARFF Vehicle 9000 is a heavy-duty aircraft rescue and firefighting tender built on a Scania P440CB 6x6 all-wheel-drive chassis rated at 26,000 kg GVW. It carries 8,000 litres of water and 1,000 litres of foam concentrate, with a 4,000 litre/min multi-pressure centrifugal pump that can deliver simultaneously to a roof monitor, bumper turret, two regulated outlets, two unregulated outlets, a high-pressure hose reel, and under-truck ground sweep nozzles. The automatic round-the-pump foam proportioning system supports selectable 3% or 6% mixing ratios.

At airports serving wide-body and long-haul traffic — A380, B747, B777 — the regulatory agent-carrying requirement drives procurement upward through ICAO Annex 14 categories. The 9000's combined water/foam volume positions it as a primary tender contribution at ICAO Category 7 and above aerodromes. The 6x6 configuration provides the traction for rapid cross-field response on grass or unprepared surfaces, critical where taxiways adjoin runway overrun zones.

For procurement engineers the distinguishing traits are the dual-rate roof monitor (2,500 / 1,250 litre/min), the independently controlled 1,500 litre/min bumper turret giving coordinated crew attack from inside the cab, 125 kg dry powder with 35 m delivery hose for engine-fire scenarios, and the pump-and-roll system enabling agent discharge while the vehicle is moving toward an incident. The polypropylene superstructure resists the salt-laden, high-UV operating environment common in Gulf coastal airports. The SCBA bracket provision for all three rear crew seats and the Scania CP28 cab standard reflect a design heritage from UK CAA and fire-service operational requirements, equally relevant to the GCAA or GACA regulatory environments in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
